There are some dishes that just taste better the second time around. Take my blog post on Gmail Tab Jail. I put it in my virtual microwave, heated it up and served it up to all my social networks this morning. Even newsletter subscribers who were sitting there a few weeks ago went I first put in on the table asked me about it today.
So, is it email or social that wins the content marketing challenge? BOTH! Multiple channels matter. I think the most important lesson here is that meeting your community where and when they are it the key to engagement.
