I was on assignment with my client Linda Harvey in Sanford, Florida last week. As any road warrior worth their salt knows, it's important to be open to nearby opportunities. While using my GPS to find a place for lunch I stumbled across Whatever it Takes Way. Couldn't pass up the opportunity to see it so after our meeting we decided to go see what we could find.
It took more than the #DigitalLeverage of a GPS to find it. It appeared on our second pass as the driveway leading into David Maus Chevorlet. For this mid-Florida dealership opened in 2011 Whatever It Takes is more than a marketing slogan, it's where they live. Sales Manager Raphael Perez, shared the back-story, "It's part of our culture. We use it as our way of earning your business." The idea for the name and designating it as an official street name came from the founder David Maus. It's incorporated into DavidMausChevorlet.com. For this successful dealership, naming their own street was a concrete demonstration of Whatever It Takes!. What are you known for? What makes your organization unique? How do you do Whatever It Takes?
