Cutting the Digital Cable
Cutting the Digital Cable
If you're tired of watching TV on a schedule that is not your own, or just tired of watching, maybe it's time to man-up and ditch cable
Paul is one of a dozen or so early morning regulars at Body Dynamics. He voiced a concern about losing some of his Man Card priviladges with his purchase of a self-propelled lawn mower. We tried to cheer him up by pointing out the upside. He will now have more time to watch sports. That really set him off. Apparently he received his cable bill about the time he bought the mower. All the staff and members are very supportive here at BodyD, so we devised the following plan to keep Paul's man card at full strength.

Cutting the Cable Cord

If you're tired of watching TV on a schedule that is not your own, or just tired of watching, maybe it's time to man-up and ditch cable. All it takes is three steps.

Get a box

Find a replacement for your cable box. You will need a streaming player, either Apple TV or Roku.

Subscribe to Content

Research, try out and choose a content provider, either NetFlix, HuluPlus or Amazon Prime. Each service has a specialty, find the one with the best fit to your viewing interests.

Say Goodbye to Cable

Yes they will be hurt. Yes they will bug you for a while. Yes you will get mad that they didn't treat you this well while you were paying them $150 a month. Whip out your man card, have courage! Now you can watch TV, and mow the lawn, whenever you (or your wife) decides!
